WITH SEAM, MANAGING YOUR CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT JUST GOT EASIER

SEAM.ARMY.MIL (CAC on NIPR/AUDS/Hypori only)

Soldier Equipping and Asset Management (SEAM) is the Army’s new platform for managing Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE), replacing the Installation Support Module-Central Issue Facility (ISM-CIF). SEAM streamlines equipment management, reduces waste, and provides Soldiers and leaders near-real-time asset visibility—including appointment scheduling, record viewing, and equipment requests/turn-ins.

BENEFITS INCLUDE
Simplified OCIE Management: Streamlines ordering, turn-in, and exchange processes.
Global Appointment Scheduling: Offers convenient, flexible appointments at any CIF worldwide.
Automated Updates: Automatically adjusts OCIE requirements based on duty station and mission changes.
Enhanced Visibility: Provides near-real-time reports and unit-level asset visibility for informed decision-making.

SEAM - Promotional Video

As the Army moves more towards leveraging data to inform decisions. SEAM is the modern-day method to ensure Soldiers have right equipment they need to perform their tactical missions. SEAM is intuitive- it’s fast and provides an efficient way to conduct TA-5O inventories with speed and accuracy.

Access

Easily access SEAM via any authorized, CAC-enabled device on a government network, and via government-issued mobile devices. Visit SEAM today to view and print individual OCIE records, open the Unit OCIE Hub for data visualization pertaining to UIC status, and more. To access SEAM on a personal mobile device, visit KB0010024 (CAC on NIPR/AUDS/Hypori only) to learn how to set up Hypori.

GETTING SUPPORT

SEAM enables users to submit questions or issues via the Get Help feature on the SEAM portal. Submit all queries with attachments and details; a case number will be generated that tracks the status of each case in real time.

To help with the onboarding of new users, SEAM has a variety of user-friendly self-help videos, an FAQs section, tours (video tutorials demonstrating key features, including equipment ordering and help resources), knowledge articles (providing step-by-step instructions for a task, such as how to review a clothing record), and online training modules. Check out these resources via the SEAM portal, Homepage>Support>Knowledge tab.

Built with the Soldier in mind, SEAM replaces complexity with clarity—offering real-time visibility and empowering Soldiers and leaders to own every step of their equipment journey, from initial issue and inventory to final turn-in—all from their personal device. Sign in. Gear up. Move out.
