Chief Warrant Officer Five Maxine M. Williams
Chief Warrant Officer Five Maxine M. Williams assumed duties as the TACOM Command Chief Warrant Officer on March 30, 2024. CW5 Williams was born in Kingston, Jamaica. She enlisted in the U.S Army in 1992 as a vehicle maintainer and became an automotive maintenance Warrant Officer in 2000.
CW5 Williams served as a ground equipment maintenance Warrant Officer in the 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina with assignments in the 21st Chemical Company (DISCOM); 3rd Battalion, 4th Air Defense Artillery Regiment; and 82nd Brigade Support Battalion. She also served as the Battalion Maintenance Officer in the 728th Military Police Battalion, Camp Henry, South Korea, and as the Brigade Combat Team’s Senior Maintenance Warrant Officer in the 3rd Brigade, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss, Texas.
She was later assigned to the U.S Army CASCOM Sustainment Center of Excellence, Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia as a Capabilities Developer, with her next assignment at the 13th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, Fort Cavazos, Texas as the Senior Ordnance Logistics Officer. Her most recent assignment was with Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems, Detroit Arsenal, Michigan, as the Senior Executive Technical Advisor for the Army’s Ground Combat Systems. Her deployments include Joint Task Force Katrina and Rita, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom.
CW5 Williams is a graduate of all levels of the Warrant Officer Professional Military Education system. She is also a graduate of the Lean Six-Sigma Black Belt, Capability Developer, Manpower and Force Management, Joint Logistics, and Operational Contract Support courses. She earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Colorado State University.
Her military awards and decorations includes the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal with two oak leaf clusters, Meritorious Service Medal with four oak leaf clusters, Army Commendation Medal with four oak leaf clusters, Army Achievement Medal with three oak leaf clusters, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal with bronze star, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraq campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Humanitarian Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (Numeral 5), NATO Medal, Combat Action Badge, U.S. Parachutist Badge, German Parachutist Badge, and the Driver and Mechanic Badges. She is also a recipient of the Ordnance Order of Samuel Sharpe and the Infantry Order of Saint Maurice.
